Double Glazing

The handle has just broken on my bedroom window, its essentialy stuck closed. The rest of the windows regularly steam up between the pane's as the seals are !!!!!!ed. Has anybody succesfully claimed on their home insurance.... is this possible ....

You have a possible claim for the handle damage if you have accidental damage cover to buildings.
No claim for the blown seals. They all do this after a period of years and it is simple deterioration and excluded under "gradually operating causes".
If the windows are less than 2-3 yrs old you may have a claim against the installer.
