In order to help keep the Forum a useful, safe and friendly place for our users, discussions around non-MoneySaving matters are not permitted per the Forum rules. While we understand that mentioning house prices may sometimes be relevant to a user's specific MoneySaving situation, we ask that you please avoid veering into broad, general debates about the market, the economy and politics, as these can unfortunately lead to abusive or hateful behaviour. Only you (and your solicittor) know what money was moved, when and why. But I'd guess
* your mortgage lender sent money to your solicitor by TT
* the purchase money was sent to your seller's solicitor by TT
* some of the mone received from your buyer was sent to your mortgage lender tto pay off your old mortgage and/or
* the balance of the money from your sale was sent back to you by TT
