They have to onboard more people but maybe they currently only want experienced people and will bring new participants in for the next lot.0

A study about financial decision-making (average payment 2.00 GBP, bonus)
By Max Richter
Has anyone had this one today? I failed one or more comprehension questions but couldn't find obvious answers to a couple of the questions from the provided information.0 -

Just got my bonuses paid for the weekend work on the AI studies. Very pleased, especially with how quickly it's been paid out.0

Got my bonus too. I'll consider it my Christmas bonus and treat myself to something nice.0

Slightly off topic but probably relevant to a few here - I've just had a request to submit my NI number to Prolific - so just a reminder to consider whether you need to save some income to cover the possible tax bill, as they'll be providing details to HMRC.
This will be the first year I've made enough to submit a tax return. Does anyone know of a good 'starting up with self-employment' guide that would be relevant to the fairly random and unreliable Prolific income?

Did anyone else not get the correct bonus? I am $20 short. I've messaged but they don't seem to reply. I have to provide my tax details in January. I just do it in a notebook lou-rose, and total it up at the end of the year.1

@lou-rose I track my prolific earnings on a spreadsheet - I only withdraw once a month and then make a note of the amount which keeps it fairly simple.
I seem to remember from when I first set it up, the guide on the HMRC website is reasonably clear.2 -

Does anyone know of a good 'starting up with self-employment' guide that would be relevant to the fairly random and unreliable Prolific income? Thanks lou-rose and onemouseplace. I have sent my NI Number to Prolific with the information requested.
I am eager to prepare for the tax I owe now. My tax account for 2022-2023 seems to be all right. Is there an easy way to calculate everything I have earned on Prolific from 6 April 2023-05 April 2024, then 6 April 2024 to date (then I can caclculate from today onwards to 05 April 2025) but I am hoping to work out (for tax) from 06 April to 05 April 2025?
Will I have to manually go through all my Studies and add them up individually or is there a better/easier way? I'll have to do it but it will take a very long time to do it manually.
If I have to do it manually would it be possible for onemouseplace to please send a link to the Spread Sheet? I'm not good enough to know how to do the calculations so if one could be available (blank) but with the formulae in, it would help a lot, thank you.
I am not sure if it is easier, or if it is even possible, but my Prolific earnings all to into my bank current account. If I can go back far enough would there be any way of selecting only payments from Prolific for the necessary dates (06 April 2023-05 April2024 then 06 April 2023 to the present date) and, somehow add them up to see what I have earned? If that would be possible I could divide by 100 and multiply by 20 to get the 20% tax I owe.
I am sorry to ask but I am anxious to start putting my earnings in order for the tax years. I will be grateful for any help, thank you.
