Usability Testing: Energy Efficiency Retrofit Tool

Welcome to the survey! This survey delves into your thoughts on improving the energy efficiency of your property and asks you to review a new online tool that could help you do so. It should take around 10 minutes to complete.

Allowed devices for this Study: Desktop

Just returned this one as it asks for a postcode and address
I did that one.  I think it must just be an example of how the tool would look, because the details it retrieved for my house bear no resemblance whatsoever to my actual house, and the report it produced at the end was for a flat in London (I'm in Scotland).
I can understand your reluctance, but I don't think it actually uses your address for anything - at least, it doesn't seem to.

I've clicked "not interested" on the one that involves video chatting with other participants at least twice today.
That study has been following me around for about a month now. I can't chat for most of the day as I would disturb people around me. I wish I would get studies like that at night!

I wish I could say the same for the website. It's still regularly logging me out, so the Studies page doesn't successfully refresh automatically and I have to do a manual page refresh, upon which it takes me to the login page.
I usually only see new studies if I do a manual refresh. I have installed an add on which is supposed to tell me when new studies are available on prolific, but often there is only 1 place left when I get the message, and by the time I click through there are none left! Except for foreign language studies, there seem to be a lot of takers!

I completed it (t some degree) but only after inputting the postcode for a house my parents used to own.  The date of the EPC was right, but nothing else was.  Reported it for using personal information, just not MY personal information!

I ended up blocking the researcher today, since she clearly had it set up so it appeared as a separate study multiple times a day, so even clicking "not interested" did not help...

I've had that same £3.23 study following me around. I wish prolific would do something to prevent this. Apart from anything else, any study that involves 30+ minutes and uses camera and audio should pay according to proper market research levels and not a low hourly rate. I would never do a half hour market research for less than £30.

If anybody still has this one lurking about un-done, do it! There's 26 people still not taken up the offer. I did it on 6th October, £2 for a survey that took 4 minutes, and just received £9.60 bonus!  I can't even remember what it was about! Works out at £174 per hour for me!!!

I tried to do this one and it said I wasn't eligible. I don't know why it showed up if I wasn't eligible. Very odd.

I have found recently that sometimes they say not eligible if there are too many people trying at once and if you try again a minute or two later you may get in.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.
