But when they asked people what song they would most like played at their funeral the answer quite telling… ‘Always Look on the Bright Side of Life’. And there’s plenty of other data floating about indicating the dead are getting a duff deal such as 42% of people didn’t even know the funeral basics of whether their loved one wanted to be cremated or buried. So we want you to share your thoughts on what is to happen when you die. Sorry to be so direct but it is your funeral!

This one isn't popular.

It's sat around all afternoon trying to find 27 people. I can't seem to find away to dismiss it as not interested as on my studies page it isn't listed as available to me  as my preferences are non use of camera/microphone, so it's still sitting there on my Alert, which is somewhat annoying.

My OH had it.  It was about 'your send off' and how people feel about funeral services.  Fairly innocuous and not anything taxing.  A quick survey really.  

The requirement for camera and microphone put me off, rather than the subject matter.

It was still needing 4 people this morning so I accepted and rejected it just to get it off my alert.

That's what the "Not interested" link at the bottom of the page is for.

I know that, but this one has camera and microphone require which I have my preferences set to No for.

As a consequence it doesn't appear in the studies list, but does on the Alert. There was no access to the Not Interested link. It kept sitting there with a red 1 on my alert, so I had to keep checking to see if there was something new, only to find it still sitting there for a second day as so few people wanted to do it.

I did not realise there was going to be a second part!

Similar to part one but took me around 35 mins to complete and payment was instant at the end so I am not complaining.

Fair bit of tying involved to justify each prediction (300 words minimum) but I somehow managed to think of something for each one.

Not sure lying is helpful as these studies are used for research and not just like the silly surveys you get with other companies. Hence why they pay so well. 

I think TYPING was meant, not LYING.

This study includes 5 games from which you can earn bonuses, and some survey questions. After that, there's a comment box for you to leave any comments you have about the study, including whether you understood how to play the games, or anything else you want to mention.

Overall, it should take less than 1 hour to finish the study and you'll get £6 plus a bonus based on your performance in each game.

Blimey, this one was extremely hard work. The software kept freezing under the weight of people trying to access it. I persevered and got a bonus, but it took me over 90 minutes. I only persisted as I decided to miss an exercise class to complete it, and having missed the start of the class was determined to get paid. I think the researcher has pulled it for now. I have been paid along with the bonus

I saw this one and was going to attempt it, but my food was ready and I had not long ago completed the intense 'prediction' study, so had second thoughts.

Also any study with 'game' in the title usually means my 'Prolific laptop' an old Dell Vostro running Linux, struggles a bit, so decided to shut down Prolific and watch the 1991 David Cronenberg movie 'Naked Lunch' instead.

Judging by your experience I'm glad I did, I prefer stress earlier on in the day if possible.

This one appeared this morning.  I have spent the last half hour working on the laptop and it sits in the background every 10 minutes or so, still with one place left.  I have actually twice told it I am not interested.  But still it persists.



and I've just reported this pesky one for underpaying.  How ridiculously low is that.

Now, I am English but I would be pretty ticked off if I were from NI, Scotland or Wales.....and I am sure the survey parameters would not have precluded our friends in other parts of the Kingdom.

I'm from Scotland, theonlywayisup, and, most recently, I have heard more than one reference to King Charles being the King of England  when he is our king too.
