After weeks of quiet, yesterday completed 6, today 5 studies. Weird how they all come at once after a very quiet spell!
How long was your wait so far gone 6 weeks with nothing.
    Nothing at all?
Some days I'll have 0 pop up but this is how November has been for me so far..
    2nd - 1 study
    4th - 3 studies
    6th - 2 studies
    9th - 1 study
    11th - 1 study
    12th - 6 studies
    13th - 5 studies
Do you use the prolific assistant on Chrome to alert you when studies are available?
Nope nothing since 3rd October guessing if nothing in next fortnight then time to contact them as over 2 months so might be issue.
Check your account as I had an issue a while back when something wasn't right with my account- can't remember now what it was (I think my account was put 'on hold'). I had wondered why i wasn't getting any studies and that was why. They fixed it for me.
Thank you turns out there was a LinkedIn feature that I haven't added to done it and today there are surveys again 😊

I have been offered this too (by email as well as on the Prolific site) and have ignored it.  It is showing as £1.25 for 26 minutes,  £2.79 per hour, with 173 places remaining.  I don't know why there are now more places than there were, but it's far too low-paying to undertake.
That one took me ages. I actually did enjoy it, but it should have been better paying. There was a bonus available though, and I'm fairly sure I always made the right choice, after all, I come from MSE forums!

Fairly obviously, the correct choice was to pay the minimum payment on any debt that had a minimum payment, and then pay the rest into the debt with the highest interest rate.

I've had my pay out on this survey today but no bonus... I also followed the pay minimum payment and pay rest towards highest rate method.
Yup me too, although I've had instances on other studies of bonus payments being added at a later date of the main payment.
Just received the bonus payment for this study.

    Me too.

I'm wondering if this payment is actually to reflect the extra time the study took, rather than the performance bonus. The Prolific page is showing an average completion time of 28 minutes compared to an estimated completion time of only 15 minutes. The difference works out at exactly the £1.08 'bonus' I have received.

I may be wrong but I'm hoping that the performance bonus of up to £2 is still to be processed. I did think that I'd answered the questions correctly at the time.

same as I received was expecting £2 as I am sure it was an even amount for each correct answer so was unsure were the 8p came into it you may be right and the other bonus may follow.

Was anyone logged on at about 16:45? I logged in and there were 19 studies available! Must have been a glitch though as I tried to do a couple and it said I was ineligible.

Yep, mine did the same after freezing for ages when it was 'refreshing' to bring up the studies

Has anyone else's Prolific just gone berserk?  I think the filter must be clogged or something as I have just had a barrage of "New study" messages and 19 show as available.  Never in my wildest dreams would that happen.  The most I have ever had at one time is 3 or 4 and that was a long time ago.

Needless to say, I was unable to do any of them as I was deemed, "ineligible".  The whole point is to see only those for which one is eligible but I think this has not happened before.  I am not sure there is any point in reporting it as I imagine PA already know.  Just wondered if this weird phenomenon were widespread or confined to a few.

Yes, did the same on me. I was a bit miffed because one of them involved playing games and I'm quite happy to be paid for that!
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

    Hi there,
I joined Prolific about a week ago and been checking it a little obsessively in case I miss a survey. Sadly not had any appear yet - is it normal to wait a while for surveys when you first join? Thanks
