That would, of course, totally invalidate the data collected and analysed by the survey. Shocking behaviour.

I just had a look at the study that I had an issue with last month and it was the same researcher and same topic "A survey on responses to emoji usage of Homefeel on Twitter" (https://app.prolific.co/studies/5f2bd58b955d846835ef7a4d). I refused to return the study when she asked me to and she threatened to reject it. I still decided not to return it and then somehow she managed to return it herself. This sounds very dodgy now.olliebean said:I'm still exchanging messages with the researcher about this, but essentially it does seem to be because my answers didn't fit the desired/expected pattern. They showed me a tweet advertising something that I am not remotely interested in, I gave my authentic responses to it, and they don't want my submission because they were expecting responses indicating a degree of interest that I did not have.1 -

The researcher did not seem interested in further discussion and just asked me again to return my submission. I have now done so, as I don't want a rejection on my record and I've already spent more time arguing the point than I spent doing the survey. Is it worth reporting it to Prolific?CheckDigit said:

I don't bother anymore as they never seem to respond to any issues that I raise.olliebean said:
