I use Chrome and get the alerts (even at work) - sometimes with 0 places remaining. Not convinced it is anything to do with the browser although I have only done limited testing with Chrome vs. Edge.

I've had a few in the past few days, but prior to that - none. I'd put it down to my profile not being in the target range for studies!

Chrome would work better with the technologies used in a site which auto refreshes to be honest.

And in pretty much every aspect compared to Edge, to be fair :rotfl:

Maybe - do you use Chrome? I wonder if the browser might have an impact?

No, I use Firefox - and I have enabled Javascript, even third-party, for that page.

I did 6 today. Don't think I've ever had that many surveys done in one day. Wish I could come home early from work more often! Much rather be on Prolific.

Ha, often I get home from work and a survey pops up but I just miss it. I was off last week and was working on my qualification and thought great I'll be able to do some fun surveys to give my brain a little jog but nope, still only got 1 or 2 around the time I'd get home from work anyway!!

    Dear participant,

I am rejecting your submission to my study "Changing Business Practices 2019" (https://app.prolific.co/studies/5d7a4b9e1d74210016f50b5b).

Prolific indicates that you completed your submission in 00:03:23: unfortunately this is far too fast for you to have completed the study meaningfully as this was estimated at 12 minutes.

Please contact me if you believe this to be a mistake.

Apologies and appreciate your effort on this study.

    The researcher.

there is no way a 12 question survey with a load of radio buttons would take 12 minutes.

    I had a rejection that said ...

    Hi,

You identified yourself as a Conservative Party supporter on Prolific's platform but then answered our survey's first question on party identification as Undecided. As such we are rejecting your submission.

Wonder if this was the same study I did and was rejected for. I put conservatives on prolific because that's what I had most identified with (or more like, the one that I least didn't identify with) but I don't actually identify with any of the parties. I got a study where the first question was asking my political affiliation, I voted none and then the survey closed. It didn't tell me beforehand that I would be rejected if I clicked none and it didn't tell me anything after it closed so I just reopened it and clicked Conservatives. He replied that he was rejecting me based on that. If you're going to put a study that closes if you don't click a button they want, why not write that in the description so you can send it back instead of putting your time into it just to get rejected?!

Indeed, and it is possible to change your mind when a person realises the Tories are utter **** who feed the rich and take from the poor.
