    Did it work, Miro?

    Noooo...I got 'Timed out' :(

The first 'Waiting for other participant' worked fine so I am going to appeal as I don't like having 'Timed out' on my record when it wasn't my fault!!

Thanks for trying to help :)

So glad that Paypal is now going to be fee free.

    Total: £8,027.80/£5 = 100%/0.06%
    Mortgage £99,692/£51,652.33 51.8%
    Car Loan: £9,217.20/7,527.38 81.67%

I am so sorry about that, Miro. It did work for me but was far too tight on time for a study the researcher "hoped we would enjoy".

I messaged the researcher twice about the unconscionable delay so the more people do likewise, the better chance those who timed out have of being paid, I hope.

Not screened out but my submission is 'awaiting review'. Hopefully they won't refuse to accept it or to pay me, that would be a bit cheeky. It was quite an interesting one, as I remember.

Anyone else just received this message and have any idea which survey they are talking about???

    Dear participant,

If you have not yet received your bonus payment, please don't worry - the money marked as your "payment" is just the show-up fee. We pay the Wallet amounts in addition as a "bonus" payment.

With a large study (in this case around 1200 of you took part!), this takes a while as we have to check the data to find out who received what amount as their bonus payment, then process this through prolific.

Please bear with us, and let us know if you have not received your bonus payments (which may come separately) by the middle of next week.

    Thanks for your patience!

Now had another message - this time re the card game.... :)

Dear participant, Thank you for your message. Sorry that you were held up waiting in the experiment. We did our best to ensure all participants understood the importance of clicking through, and that other participants’ experience depended on this. Unfortunately, a few participants did not comply, and it is likely that you were kept waiting as a result. To compensate you for the time you spent on the study, we will send a payment of £0.50, which is the full show-up fee for the study. I hope this helps, and apologies again for any inconvenience. Best wishes, Rebecca (on behalf of the research team)
