I have an issue with Circle. My most recent payout from Prolific was paid to Circle today but when I try to cash out, it wants me to set up a new account to pay to even though I have my main account already linked to Circle. It doesn't seem to take the same details if I enter them and won't let me cash out normally. Stuck looking at my balance but cannot access it...

I managed to cash out to Circle today and then transfer the balance to my bank a/c without a problem. It will be the last time! Oddly, they wanted some further details about me (address and birthday) when I went to log on, but I navigated that successfully.

So I think I will now just close the Circle account and hope that PA can set up another free alternative.

I recently changed my current account to Nationwide - hope that's not an issue being a building society rather than a bank. Have emailed Circle for help.

I cash out from Circle to a Nationwide account, so I don't think that's the issue.

It's probably the fact that your account details have changed and Circle need to have security in place to make sure the change is genuine.

I had that a couple of weeks back. I left it and tried again a couple of days later and it went through fine. I did wonder at the time if it was because it was a bank holiday. Shouldn't make any difference, but you never know.
