Yeah, I didn't get the follow up parts. Can only assume part 1 was a recruitment screener - would have been nice if they'd made that clear.

I haven't had any studies the last two days.

When a study appears and I select Reserve Place it shows the error 'Sorry, we're not accepting submissions on this study'.

Are other people getting this error?

Happens all the time to me. Means that you try to reserve it when the places are now all taken. There's lots of people hitting the reserve button very quickly indeed.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

I only received part 1, so messaged the researcher about 4.30pm asking when I'd get the 2nd part. They replied:

'Thank you very much for taking part in our study. We have now reviewed the system and approved your submission and authorised your payment - you should receive it very soon.'

Never did get the 2nd part so I suspect they just chose the participants whose answers best fitted whatever hypothesis they were trying to prove.

Now I'm even more jealous - I messaged them at 3.30 and got no reply :rotfl:
I'll get over it I'm sure. But thanks for letting me know I'm not the only one.

I've just done my first cashout from Prolific and it took three days for the money to appear in my PayPal account. Is this normal?

Cashouts are on Tuesday and Friday unless you use instant PayPal, as far as I am aware.
