I've just contacted Prolific as well. I got no reply from the researcher to my second message and she still hasn't paid me anything. Will let you know if I hear anything back from them.

Hi Allison,
Your submissions for these studies have now been approved. Apologies for the confusion, they were returned on the pre-text that the researcher had asked participants not to take part in multiple versions (that were mistakenly published at the same time), but this turned out not to be the case. Therefore, we've been working with the researchers to approve all submissions that were completed in good faith.
