Have any of you noticed that your pending balance figure and the total of surveys 'Awaiting Review' are different by 1p?

I spotted this a while ago and following cashout both figures were correct. For the sake of 1p I ignored it but today I've had a survey approved that was paying £1.14 but the confirmation email told me I'd been paid £1.13.

I've now got £5.22 at awaiting review but my pending shows £5.21

It's not something that's exclusive to the new site either.

    Anyone else?

Mine seems to be OK tbh. Though I am unsure I would really notice it if it was 1p every now and again. Not going to buy me many penne packets...

I also did that study and my task was also entering strings backwards. I didn't make that much effort, only completed 3-6 per round, but still got about £175 surplus each time which didn't relate much to how many I'd completed. My final payment was about £5 so I think there was some trickery going on. In the debrief it said something about the objective being to see how different people react to being under financial pressure so the tasks may have just been a smokescreen. I'm also confused how they'll pay less than £4 - they should have made £2.75 the guaranteed amount and awarded the rest in bonuses.

Definitely random then as I only made around £10 each round, doing all of them. Agreed that it's odd them paying less than the amount displayed on PA for the study

Comes with bonus payments if you answer questions correctly. I earned 150 cents, which according to Google is £1.18, and it really is a two minute job.
  • Jealous of how much you earnt, I got 10c for each correct answer and only made 50c overall.

I regret reading all those bloody articles now

I think you should add that the articles are not for when you are busy tucking into your chicken of beef sandwich...

I'm not sure they can - not without rejecting the study and giving it as a bonus - which would give us plenty of leverage to go "oi" about. As they wouldnt be giving a bonus if they thought we did a bad job.

Just done that one. I thought about the answers a bit more and took a bit longer.

I have queried this a few times and am always told the reason is "minor discrepancies between currency exchange rates". I have pointed out the time to take those into account is before "rewards" are posted. For instance, I have been paid 49p for a study advertising a 50p reward on several occasions. Yet another example of PA's inefficiency at best or sharp practices at worst, imho.

I agree with the poster who said they might spend a little less time on self-promotion on social media and a little more on making sure their site actually works.

Thank you Smodlet. Skimming is the word that comes to mind for me. I know it's only a few pence here and there but I agree the reward amount specified is what should be received.

OH &%£*, were there articles to read on that meat survey?! Nothing showed for me, I wondered how I was supposed to know if soy production is almost entirely for vegan products :$

I got the 20p paid already, no sign of any bonus though... Unsurprisingly...
