Motorpoint Credit

Hi,
I am looking to get a car through Motorpoint's PCP finance plan.

The worry I have is that my credit score may be too bad at the minute due to some bad luck recently. However, I have recently started a much better paid job so I can definitely afford it.

Does anyone know what are the chances of getting refused credit by them? And if so, would waiting a couple of months help? I don't know much about credits as I never had any problems.

Any information and/or guidance would be appreciated.

You dont have a credit score, only credit history. What bad luck are we talking about that could effect your credit history?

Apply and see how you go....or work out the monthly repayment and save that money every month for 6 months, then apply for the loan less the amount you have saved up...or keep saving until you no longer need a loan.

Without knowing what is on your credit history, no one can tell you. But obviously any defaults, late payments or CCJ's visible will lessen your chances, and/or push the rate up.

Ahh okay. Well, I can't really say how bad my credit score would be atm. as I don't understand enough. I do have a credit card which is nearly maxed out and I have overdrafted on my debit card. On the upside, I have never had a late payment and have no mortgage. :think:
