Entering the Prize Draw
This prize draw is open only to registered Sparks member’s, who are permanent UK residents who are aged 18 or over. Employees of the Marks and Spencer Group of Companies or any other company and/or agency connected with this promotion are permitted to enter.
The prize draw starts on 25th January 2018 and closes on 1st February 2018. To enter the prize draw participants must enter using their registered Sparks email address before 23:59 on 1st February 2018.
All eligible Sparks’ members at that time who wish to enter are required to submit their registered Sparks email address within the associated data capture form to qualify for entry. All eligible entries will be entered in the prize draw. Only one entry per Sparks member. No entries on behalf of third parties will be accepted.
Choosing the Winners
M&S will randomly draw one (1) winner for the first prize and fifty (50) winners for the second prize on 2nd February 2018 and the draw will be supervised by an independent person. The prize will be awarded to the first fifty one (51) correctly completed entry, drawn at random.
M&S will notify the winners of the prize via telephone on the telephone number registered to their Sparks account by 10th February 2018. The notification will include details of how the prize can be accepted. If the winners do not confirm acceptance of the prize by 15th February 2018 23:59 another random draw will take place from completed entries and another winner will be selected.
The Prize
The first prize consists of 1 (one) winner with up to 1 (one) guest, to enjoy a luxury break in London at the Mondrian hotel. This includes return travel to and from London. This includes transfers in London and an evening meal and breakfast for the winner and their guest in accordance with terms 22 to 29 below. They will also get a private film screening for 2 at the Sea Containers cinema including a bottle of champagne.
The second prize consists of fifty (50) winners each receiving one (1) Marks and Spencer £20 E-gift card (e-Code) ONLY.
Additional third party terms and conditions may apply to the redemption of the prize.
The prize does not include additional expenses other than those described above in term 9 and 10.
The winners of the first prize must accept the prize, as described in point 9 above, in its entirety.
The winners of the second prize will not need to confirm acceptance of the prize. Winners will be notified via email that they have won and the prize will be delivered to their registered Sparks address. The prize is as stated in point 10 only.
The first prize winner and guest must be available to attend the Mercy (“experience”) once the booking has been confirmed.
If the first prize is not taken or is cancelled by the winner/s, then no part of the prize shall be given and if already given in part, must be returned to M&S.
The first prize winner and guest must accept that the prize is to be redeemed and the experience taken on the confirmed booking date.
The first prize winner and guest must note that the dates/times of travel cannot be altered once chosen and the reservations made.
The first prize winner and guest must provide their full contact details, confirmation of date of birth and confirm acceptance of these terms and conditions.
The first prize winner and guest must agree to comply with confidentiality restrictions.
Provision of this prize is subject to the winner and the winner’s guests: (a) signing a Prize Acceptance Form; and (b) accepting all terms and conditions of third parties involved in the prize (to be provided with the Prize Acceptance Form)
Transport (First Prize only)
Studio Canal will provide return standard train travel to London from UK mainland stations for up to £250, per person on the specified date.
Transfers to and from the hotel are included. The winner and guest must arrange and pay for their own transport to and from the selected airport or national rail station above.
M&S will not be responsible for the winner and/or guest missing their transportation to or from their selected departure location. Any replacement travel tickets for the journey to and from their selected airport or national train station must be purchased by the winner and/or guest at their own cost and such cost will not be reimbursed to them by M&S.
The winner and guest must pay for their own travel insurance and holiday cover if applicable.
Hotel Accommodation (First Prize only)
Studio Canal will provide one night’s accommodation in the Mondrian London.
Hotel accommodation is based on two people sharing a twin or double room or if required, two separate rooms at a hotel selected by the Mondrian London.
M&S shall not be responsible for the hotel changing the winner’s and/or guest’s room allocation or for any additional expenses incurred by a winner and/or guest during their stay.
A credit card may be required by the hotel as a guarantee for any additional costs incurred over and above those specified in points 23 and 24.
Evening meal (First Prize only)
Studio Canal will contribute £150 towards food and drink for an evening meal. Restaurant to be selected by Studio Canal and subject to availability.
Any costs incurred above the £150 will be the responsibility of the winner and guest.
Any balance remaining from the £150 allowance will not be paid to the winner.
