I’ve applied & received a BA Amex card, which earns you 5000 Avios points if you spend £1000 in the first 3 months.
We are planning a holiday in Hong Kong, Bali & Borneo in November and the flights alone is £1500+
While this is a great deal in itself, which was worth reporting, I was wondering if I can earn extra points & Cashback during this trip? Any tips welcome please.
I already found out that I can get double Avios from Booking.com until end January. :money:

Should have looked at Headforpints for the best CC deals
Amex Gold comes out best TBHO 22000 miles (if you get referred ) for £2k in 3 months.0 -
I wouldn't bother with Avios points ever again Their offers are so limited, and in most cases it's simple to get flights, car hire, etc much cheaper by buying direct from travel companies than through Avios. They have removed so many options now, that unless you are booking a flight direct from London, you will never win. Total waste of time and space.0

It's sufficient for you to have your rant on your other thread surely?
It's been explained over there how many people get wonderful value from Avios, usually by flying up the front of the plane. The complete opposite to yourself who seem content to fly cattle class with uber-cheap sub-standard service (i.e. NO service) airlines.
à chacun son goût...The questions that get the best answers are the questions that give most detail....0 -

The summer 2018 BA non stop flight operations from MAN are bigger than last year, so the non London Avios options are there for the booking.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0 -
I just got £420 off my flights to Dallas with my Avios0
