 we are so cold..... :snow_laug
our electric heater has stopped blowing out hot air today and just blasts out cold.
checked guarantee and it ran out last week (typical!)
lost manual ...(typical again!)
it is an Atlanta electric fire suite from Argos. Has anyone else got a manual? Or any idea what to do?
A year isnt a long time to have an electric fire before it breaks down ... surely!
thanks all

also argos are very good at returns, have you gone in,( be v. nice as they are more likely to respond favourably!) and chatted to them about it conking out just after the guarantee?0 -
Thanks Susie,
Approaching Argos sounds a good plan - will pop in today. The fire has been fitted in though so just not sure whether they will offer a replacement or repair ...?
And now going to browse the site you recommend.
Many thanks - lets hope we can get the scarves and hats off soon!! (ok so its not quite that bad yet ... but getting that way!)
thanks again, much appreciated0 -
might be a reset switch on it somewhere?
if not then a broken element seems favourite.
poss a faulty on/off or selector switch? or the thermostat?Get some gorm.0 -
will check for these things - thanks ormus0

Argos are really good on returns especially when there's a queue at the desk but I wouldn't hold your breath if it's out of warranty but you can only try:money:0
