Hi all,
I really need some help if anybody can.
I've got this impossible essay to do, and the only thing I think might help is a journal article which i can't get hold of. My athens ID doesn't seem to work for this one and wondered if anyone could help me out somehow.
Failing that I will have to see if any other unis have a hard copy!
Thanks in advance.
PS the journal is Cognition year 2000

what article exactly are you after ?, may be able to get it for you as I can access Cognition though the OUI no longer work in Council Tax Recovery but instead work as a specialist Council Tax paralegal assisting landlords and Council Tax payers with council tax disputes and valuation tribunals. My views are my own reading of the law and you should always check with the local authority in question.0

Have just checked and I can't access the full text either.
I can get 'Cognition and Emotion' and 'Cognition and Instruction' full text articles but not 'Cognition'.
If you are going to do an interlibrary loan, don't leave it too long as they can take a while.0 -
I suggest you contact your tutor (or whoever set the essay). If s/he knows that this article is the key reading, s/he may well have their own copy, or may have put a photocopy in a student file somewhere.0

It's:
Evans, J., Handley, S., Perham, N., Over, D. & Thompson, V. (2000).
Frequency versus probability formats in statistical word problems. Cognition, 77 (3),197-213.0 -

That is really lovely of you to help, it will save me wandering round every library in the vicinity seeking it out!
Let's just hope it helps with the essay now. Better get back to it!
Thanks all for looking.
