Life assurance for seafarers?

Hi I work offshore and want to get some life assurance. I am due a medical in the next few weeks and while I don't believe there is anything wrong, it is better being safe than sorry.
Can someone reccomend a good policy which is flexible enough for me to alter it at a later date if I change jobs. Basically I want to take out a policy before any health issues ever develop.
Thanks for any advice
