Beware! Amazon, never cancel an order

I would suggest that this should be a vent against the bank rather than Amazon, Amazon have given you the authorisation code to enable an instant release of the ringfenced funds but the bank is insisting on waiting until the time has passed for them to be allowed to take the money instead of just giving it back.0

I have never had money taken from my bank account from amazon until the items are despatched.
Neither has the OP - but his bank has 'ring-fenced' the money in his account for Amazon to potentially take at some point in the future and therefore reduced his available balance so he can't spend it.0
