Extended warranty on white goods

Hi All, I have a hotpoint dishwasher which continually breaks down.
It is now over 12 moths old, first repaired by hotpoint in its last month of warranty and then I took out a Domestic and General plan to cover further repairs. Since taking out this plan it's has broken a further two times.
First repair was a new circuit board, second was allegedly a leak which caused the motor to over heat and I am awaiting my third repair since October 2017.
I have asked if the machine could be replaced as Cleary there is a continuing fault which is not being diagnosed at source. D&G are refusing to replace and each time it breaks I have to wait for someone to attend and diagnose and then return and fix. I am self employed so I've lost 6 days work, more than the appliance cost me!
Is there anything I can do under the sale of goods act? It's clearly not fit for purpose.
Thanks

If you purchased it after October 2015, it is the Consumer Rights Act you should be reading. You may have to commission a report from an independent source to help you with your claim that there is/was in inherent fault, it is not fit for purpose or it is not of satisfactory durability.0

As above and your D&G warranty would be subject to their t&c and worth reading regarding replacement .0
