Company car allowance - purchasing a car

Hi All,
I've been offered a job with a company car allowance of 7,000 annually. However i'm going to be hitting around the 45,000 miles a year mark.
I currently have a company car so will have to purchase my own vehicle for the new role.
I don't have the cash to purchase a car so will have to go with monthly payments. However i'm finding it hard to find a nice reliable car I can pay monthly on and rack up 45k miles a year.
HELP?
Thanks,

As you will be responsible for all running costs then my personal choice for reliability/ nil costs other than servicing would be German manufacturers. Husband used to do similar mileage and had BMW 5 series and what is now the 4 - nothing that needed doing other than servicing and tyres. Hes just handed back a VW Tiguan with 91k after 6 years (2 years out of lease contract) and that has also been a dream, so much so that I bought one last year.0 -
Thanks for the info - helpful!0
