We’d like to remind Forumites to please avoid political debate on the Forum.

PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING: Hello Forumites! In order to help keep the Forum a useful, safe and friendly place for our users, discussions around non-MoneySaving matters are not permitted per the Forum rules. While we understand that mentioning house prices may sometimes be relevant to a user's specific MoneySaving situation, we ask that you please avoid veering into broad, general debates about the market, the economy and politics, as these can unfortunately lead to abusive or hateful behaviour. Threads that are found to have derailed into wider discussions may be removed. Users who repeatedly disregard this may have their Forum account banned. Please also avoid posting personally identifiable information, including links to your own online property listing which may reveal your address. Thank you for your understanding.

haha.
Since we are not allowed to talk about House Buying, Renting, Selling & Prices I thought I would share something that made me smile last Friday.
I went for a surf, as I normally have Fridays off when the kids are at school.
Whilst waiting for waves a 12 year boy that I knew from my sons primary school, paddles out joins me. I ask him why he's off school and he tells me he is home tutored now. "Great" I say "why arn't you at home being tutored?"
"It's my PE lesson" he said with a big grin!!
He's one of the soundest 12 year olds I know.0 -

What's worrying is that the thread this OP is being ironic about is by a MOD.
Exactly who's puling the strings here?Bankruptcy isn't the worst that can happen to you. The worst that can happen is your forced to live the rest of your life in abject poverty trying to repay the debts.0
