Yes an excel spreaheet would do fine.
Why look for one, just create one for your own needs. You know what you want to record.0 -
I've got one that I've used for years (and tweaked over time). It is very easy - below is a basic version:
A1 = Date
B1 - Miles
C1 - Litres
D1 - Gallons
E1 - MPG
A2 - Enter date of fill up
B2 - Enter miles travelled since last fill up
C2 - Enter litres of this fill up
D2 - =IF(C2>0,C2/4.54609,"")
E2 - =IF(C2>0,B2/D2,"")
Repeat above for rows 3, 4, 5 etc. at each fill up.0 -
If Excel is too hard why not try one of the fuel apps or online like Fuelly or FuelLog/FuelioRemember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0

I built a website to track this type of thing as well as other costs, repairs, servicing etc. It includes a reminder for MOT, Insurance, Tax etc, if anyone wants to try it out (it's free) just PM me.Make £2018 in 2018 Challenge - Total to date £2,1080

Have ended up using this website and downloading the 'acar' app that syncs with it.
Thanks for your help:beer:0 -
I used to use a pencil and paper. And a calculator. It was a lot easier to write things down just after I'd filled up.If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.0
