Panasonic 32in LCD Tv

  • Costco have dropped the price of this tv from the voucher book.

I tried to buy one in Aberdeen on Monday evening and they told me they had sold 40 of them in 2 hours and were waiting on stock. I put my name down and got a call on Wednesday and went in last night to collect it.

When I paid, it was £399.99 minus £70 plus VAT = £387.73, so about £80 cheaper than in the book.

Cheapest I can get this anywhere else in approx £490 and with Costco you get a 3 year guarantee.

I know that the LXD TV is better but for £387 this is a steal. I am happy with my purchase and the TV.

They still haven't phoned me about the stock coming back in, but I am delighted to hear that they have dropped the price. That's a superb price.

The LXD model may have a few extra sockets at the back, but in terms of picture and sound quality this one is just as good, according to Which? magazine's tests.

You were lucky! I am still waiting for them to call me to say that mine is in stock. They phoned to offer an "equivalent" Sony at the same price, but I think the Panasonic are better TVs, so I am waiting for them to come in. It is worth waiting, to get one of these at less than £400, which is an incredible price, even before you take into account the 3 year no-quibble guarantee.

Finally got mine, just before new year. I had not had a call, but was in Costco, so checked the TVs, and the Panasonic were in stock. So I asked if I could take one now, at the voucher price. Took a while to sort, as I did not have my voucher with me, but I got it.

I can't believe I got one of the best 32" LCD TVs for £387!
