I rec a letter today from NW
From 1/12/07 when you deposit a cheque, it will be 4 working days before withdrawal is available rather than the current 3 working days, but they will pay interest after 2 working days rather than the current 3 working days.
I thought banks were aiming to cut down the time it takes before your deposit is available, rather than extend it !!!
