Why haven't i heard back? HSBC

I applied for a HSBC 0% balance transfer card a week ago but i havent heard anything back at all not even an email
is this normal? or am i to assume i was unsuccessful?

    You may have been referred, so also check your spam folder. There may have been a system problem.

    Thanks I don't have a reference number or anything for the application though as I never had an email
  • Call them and give you the information you do know, such as your name and address.

  • Hi Katie, i recommend having a look at my post i made today...


    Had a nightmare with them...same thing, no reply for days, thought i hadnt got it, eventually got a letter with credit limit etc. Used £1500 for a purchase which wasnt even half my limit and 3 days later they revoked the card and demanded full amount back with no explanation. Ive posted on here looking for advice...terrifying how little they care, customer service been non-existant

    Katie, could you tell me whether you ever did hear from HSBC please as exactly the same thing has happened to me. I’ve never had a credit card application not acknowledged after a week.
