I wrap up in my dressing gown and sometimes wear my fingerless gloves whilst I'm working (I would wear my proper gloves but find I can't type that well!) I also wear two pairs of socks plus my slippers.I tell you the postman has a treat if he knocks on the door!Mortgage - £2338.07 paid off Feb 2023 BTL 1 £51,089.10 £35789.36 BTL 2 £81,504.52 BTL 3 £77,497.02 Stash Busting Challenge 2024 Lost count but no craft spending0 -

I can't find my fingerless gloves, need to hunt them down! Heating has stayed on 14 degrees today so quite happy with that :-)Previous debt: £14K :embarasse Debt free: Sept '03MFW#42 Mortgage OP savings £4271.18/£12000 2019

Thanks MushyPeas. I have worked out I have to do it straight after the school run or else I won't do it at all. I'm really unfit and have not exercised for years but am determined that this year this is about to change. I'm not stopping eating chocolate though - that's a step too far for me!
We all love corned beef hash now -my son used to hate it but I told him it was chicken which ate shrimps to make it pink (like a flamingo) and he loves it now! Try it on your OH -you never know :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I can’t think of 5 things but I am trying.
Failed my diet again today so will have a new day tomorrow and have 5 challenges to do.
1. Took a light bulb out of a spare room to put in the landing , not really money saving but a delayed spending day.
2. Resisted going to Tesco for the Pepsi max bargain - 24 cans for £5.
3. Had a look at the Swagbucks site to see what it is all about. I joined it the other week but didn’t do anything on it. It reminds me of the good old days of Ipoints and Rpoints.0 -
Hi squiggles - don't beat yourself up about the diet. I really can't stick to diets as I have no willpower. I've decided that I am going to eat healthier but still reward myself with chocolateMortgage - £2338.07 paid off Feb 2023 BTL 1 £51,089.10 £35789.36 BTL 2 £81,504.52 BTL 3 £77,497.02 Stash Busting Challenge 2024 Lost count but no craft spending0
