Tax Credit HEADACHE!

Options
Going on SMP in July 2018.

Wage 25k tax year 2017/2018 so entitlement = 0

Tax year 2018/2019 is where it gets confusing !

Working until June so (so 2/3 months full pay) then 6 weeks full pay at start of maternity leave, then SMP rate of £140.00 per week for pretty much rest of tax year (until April 2019) giving estimated annual income of approx 12,000 I've worked it out as.

Is this the figure you give on the form? Hard to be exact to the penny? Or just you just say 25k again and then tell them when on SMP and then tell them when you are back to work?! Won't this cause an over-payment?!

Thanks.

Because one at least was offensive

Mines wasn’t. I suggested the OP read through the claim form and help notes or use the ones online. Not sure why that’s offensive.

NoNoDrama didn't like the replies he'd received. He went trawling through other posters thread history and made some very unkind comments to a helpful poster.

    DS is never offensive!

I believe you added to this thread after NonoDramas post had been deleted, quite rightly so too. Mine was deleted too.

They did not like the replies they received so made a nasty remark about one of the respected posters on here, I was going to report the post too, seems like someone beat me to it.

It was me that reported the very unkind post made by Nono. I was disgusting, and aimed directly at a very kind member who always goes out of her way to help others. Made me mad, so it had to be reported. I have no idea if anyone else reported it. I didn't notice anyone else commenting badly, so no not you DS.
