in Credit cards
I took out the cashback card in july and my 3 months at 4% is now up having earned a whopping £610!! cashback
.i would love to have had that paid before xmas so made a cheeky call to enquire if they would?
january seems to be the payment date , so i thought ,what if i cancel the card ? wouldnt they have to send me a rebate cheque?
actually NO !! IF YOU CANCEL THE CARD BEFORE YOU HAVE RECEIVED YOUR CASBACK REBATE ,THEN YOU WONT GET A PENNY OF the MONEY youve EARNED .
they say its in the small print that you have to stay with them for a minimum term after the 3months introductary rate .
DONT DUMP THE CARD TIL YOUVE GOT YOUR MONEYBACK!

You can tart it - as my Capital One cashback has just dropped to the "normal" 1%, I am applying for the Abbey 5% supermarket card - but just don't close it.The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.
