Help! I'm an idiot!!

Options
I always mocked people for doing this and now have gone and done it myself. I signed up for text alerts from somebody a few months ago (and can't remember who) but they are charging me to receive the texts. It is costing me £20 a month to receive them whether I delete them before I read them or not. I have tried texting back stop, end and other words (not repeatable here) but to no avail. Can anyone help me. The text number is 81122.

The best way to unsubscribe from unwanted recurring Premium SMS Text Messaging is to “Reply” to the message, input STOP, END, QUIT, CANCEL or UNSUBSCRIBE from your phone and Send to the content provider's short code. The content provider is required to recognize these standard responses.

Hi Jakabe, My apologies for the error, I have corrected the details

This is the company that is registered to 81122

    Vertis
    020 8253 7000
    1-2 Stafford Close
    Croydon
    Surrey
    CR9 4PD

Call them and then ask them for an e-mail address to confirm the cancellation, if they continue to send you the premium rate texts go to the Icstis website or phone Icstis and make a complaint as the company has already broke Icstis regulations by not cancelling the texts when you first sent them a text to 'stop'. Then again this is how the Premium Rate Industry operates!

Hope that helps, even if I got the wrong number the first time.

Forgot, Icstis now call themselves 'Phonepayplus', they seem to think that it makes them sound more respectable. Some bloody chance!!!!!!!!
