Oh really? I wasn't aware of that but it does make sense. I'm honestly not the one to usually complain, and I was quite surprised that it was escalated to their Customer Relations team as I I never actually said I was making a complaint or asked for it to be escalated; only I questioned the extra 12 months and argued the interpretation of the CRA with their warranty team representative (and they didn't even ask me if I would like to have it escalated - they just did it).
I've had an account with them for 11 years according to their homepage, and this is the first time I've had a real "issue" (a couple of technical problems at most they've always managed to solve that have exceeded my expectations).
My dad on the other hand loves to complain though! And it is something I really need to find the courage to do more often because I have genuinely suffered so many losses as a consumer from keeping my mouth shut.0
