While I don't have a fraction of the expert knowledge that fellow forumers have, I would like to use my limited experience to warn/protect other users of the car park in question.

Have you any advice on what to do after an appeal has been successful? For instance, have people left reviews on superstore websites to warn motorists? I wouldn't want anyone else to go through my experience needlessly.

Now the appeal has been won, it's all over and you are free to do whatever you like. Most regulars will have been through a similar process and have taken an 'extreme' position in getting themselves fully immersed in the FightBack by learning this stuff thoroughly and advising new motorists every day of the week/month/year.

But any bit helps, so posting warnings on social media is a great way of getting the message across about the dark dangers of the private parking industry, inputting to retailers' review sites - great!

Educate your family and ask them to pass on the message - avoid PPC managed sites as far as possible (and write to the retailer to tell them why they are avoiding them), or if they have to use a PPC car park, read the signs carefully and comply with the 'rules. If everyone did that, the PPC network would quickly wither.

Write to your MP about this scandal, ask him/her to support the Bill presented to the Commons just a month ago by Sir Greg Knight.

Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
