Faulty washing machine

Hello all, I bought a Grundig washing machine on 16 Nov 17 from Currys. It was installed on 18th. I have used it once a week since then and it has developed a leak. Currys terms are replacement within 30 days. Can I still ask for replacement? I registered the purchase with Grundig (Beko) and there was a 5 year warranty included.

You can ask but they will probably say no and insist on a repair which they are allowed to do. Where is it leaking from and who installed it?

You can ask but I imagine they'd instruct a repair at this first point.
  • Thanks for replies, It's leaking as far as I can see from underneath at the front. Currys installed the machine

No doubt they'll want to ascertain what the fault is and attempt a repair at this stage. I had a similar leak with a machine years ago and it turned out to be the plastic wiring from an underwired bra had come loose and punctured the rubber drainage gasket underneath the machine, so be be aware this could be a user fault.
