Wayleave Payments

As we have external power cables leading to our property we have been notified that we are eligible to receive wayleave payments from the hardware owner, SSE. This is the first we have heard of such payments and would be grateful for any advice in claiming. I appreciate that this may not be the appropriate forum area but I cannot see another more suitable!

I've just had £200 for a single cable crossing the bottom of garden. Has to last 15yrs though, so only a small celebration. Minus 20% for the company I allowed to handle the claim.
Going to check if BT pay also, next door's BT line crosses our front gardenI am not a cat (But my friend is)0
