Hi
Just applied for an MBNA All Round Credit card - essentially to pay off honeymoon before wedding in Nov with 0% on purchases for 30 months.
This was all good until I noticed some fine print that said the 0% on purchases only applies to purchases made in first 60 days?
Is this the norm? I have one credit card I usually pay off in full every month and I have never completed BT or MT before as I've been happy just paying this off.
Does this kind of offer usually only apply for a set time after account is opened? Or is this just MBNA?

MBNA may not be unique, but it's very rare to see such a restriction on 0% purchase cards.0

I came into this world with nothing and I've got most of it left.0

So is this just an MBNA thing? Would other 0% cards actually be 0% on purchases for whole period of promotional offer?0

Some will, some won't. Check before you apply.0

I'm sorry post #2 wasn't clear enough. Let me see if this is better...zb215delay wrote: »So is this just an MBNA thing?Would other 0% cards actually be 0% on purchases for whole period of promotional offer?0

They have changed the T&C since I had my All Round CC then as mine covers the entire period.

Tesco the 0% lasts for the entire promotional period.
To me I have always seen the first 60 days only thing as a bit of a scam.
Having a 0% purchase card that only works for 60 days is almost useless, I dont see the point in it.0
