Amazon problem.

At insistence by friend bought some books as Christmas presents from amazon.

On day of delivery they said that courier had damaged the parcel and it was being returned.

I called amazon who resent the books which were received.

My account is still showing a month later that Amazon are awaiting the books return. Am assuming I’ll be re-charged for them.

Anyone else had this and what’s the best way to resolve?

    I generally call them with any problems. They always email you with the agreed resolution so I just stay on the line til the mail pops up. Never had to call on the mail as "evidence" as they've always amended my account as they promised they would. If you're a Prime member don't forget to tell them how disappointed you are at having to resolve an issue - they will extend your membership by a month without fail.

    Either call or use the chat option, never used the phone option before but the chat route has got results.
