Is it worth the price? I have done a lot of research, people suggesting its overpriced. Should I wait for a few months before I buy it

Any good for what?
Phones nowadays are cheap compared to years ago, so the going rate for a latest top spec of any operating system is about 700 gbp.
I buy my handsets outright to ensure a low bill monthly, and the current handset I have is just short of 5 years now.
Some things with phones are what you cannot see, eg my friend had changed from a branded handset to a one plus, when he was in the car and on the phone you could certainly tell, now that he has swapped back to a pixel2 even at motorway speeds you cannot tell he is in the car.0 -
Good value no
I've just ordered a 3gb ram 32gb storage android phone direct from the manufacturer for £90 , equivalent Samsung is £899
I'll get full OTA updates , it's a full global build and as direct from the manufacturer no risk of malware or bloatwareEx forum ambassador

Price, value and worth are different for everyone.
I have the iPhone X and love it.
However the fact that you have not done a lot of research and that your asking others if you should buy it then my answer is no you should not buy it.
When putting down a £1000 on something you really should know what your buying and have no doubt in your mind. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

You are right there, and in the case of many who will go into an airtime agreement they don't see the actual handset price, just the price of the airtime and device monthly bundle.0 -

Oh certainly but the same applies to credit cards and loans. Those monthly payments always look great until you can't make them
But if the OP figures it out for themselves and is in no doubt then spend spend spend 💰💰💰This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

I have a motorola G4, an Omega De Ville watch that has been charged(battery change) 5 times in 25 years, and my wife is the Apple of my eye (iWife) and wouldn't dream of changing her every year to satisfy those folks at Cupertino and those Kewl Kiddies :cool:4.8kWp 12x400W Longhi 9.6 kWh battery Giv-hy 5.0 Inverter, WSW facing Essex .
