Where Does My Go?

in Credit cards
Can anyone please help me.
I want to know where my money goes.
I pay my credit card off on Day 1
The Money is removed from my account on Day1
The Same Money does not then reappear until Day 4
Please remember that this money is transferred electronically. It does not leave the bank in question (Nat West).
I have spoken to someone on the Nat West helpdesk who to be fair is only reading from a script and his answer was "It takes that long because that is what my script says".
I then asked to speak to a senior offical at Nat West at which point his answer was "I don't know anyone".
As the staff at Natwest do not know where the money goes perhaps someone on this forum can help

Electronic transfers from a current account to a savings account or credit card usually take about 4 days - that's standard across the industry.' <-- See that? It's called an apostrophe. It does not mean "hey, look out, here comes an S".0
