Fair trade practice opening new claim case

Hi,
Can anyone provide me with some advice?
I used a third party to claim for my ppi called fair trade practice. This was under the previous mis-selling of ppi and the Plevin ruling was not yet ruled in.
I had won some cases and paid them their commission but I had one case which had to go to the financial ombudsman.
I finally received a letter from fair trade practice informing me that the ombudsman had ruled in favour of the lender and I was unsuccessful. I had the option to appeal but chose not to and the case was closed. I had an email to confirm all cases were solved.
Months later, I receive an email confirming that the ombudsman have ruled in my favour.
Needless to say I was confused as it was all over.
I looked closely and noticed that there was a new claim number and it seems fair trade practice reopened the claim without my permission and started a new case under the Plevin ruling.
I never gave them permission for this.
Question is? Do I have to pay them commission? I did not give them permission to open that case up under a new claim for a new ruling!

Check the agreement, you might find you signed to say they could represent you in all future claims. Unless you cancelled . .I used a third party to claim for my ppi called fair trade practice . . .<snip>

The closet thing I could find in t&c’s was along the lines of the lender reinvestigates the claim.
As this had a new claim number, it’s not investigating an old claim but surely a new claim that they had no right to do.
If anyone else has had a similar experience and could let me know the outcome, that would be very useful.0 -
Plevin would have eventually been checked agasint your complaint because it was rejected.
