For the last couple of months every time I switch on my computer I get a pop up saying that "Windows 10 -Your device needs the latest security updates" and it gives me the option to Hide the message and says it will work in the background but it never seems to have worked. Anyone know what I need to do? Please make it very easy to understand as I come into the Silver Surfer category so find all things techie quite difficult to get to grips with. TIA.

Go into Settings and tell us what it says under Update & security0

Most of the items in update history say "Failed to install" only Adobe flashplayer says successfully installed. Is that what you wanted to know? Let me know if not. It's 5 o'clock somewhere!0
