Level 2 food hygiene

It's a bit more difficult than that (I think I may have done level 3, some years ago.)
I note that these people (and there will doubtless be others, this was just my first hit) are cheap AND give unlimited retakes until you pass. (Slightly worrying for those of us who are eating what the people who find it difficult to pass after many attempts are preparing...) https://www.foodsafetyatwork.co.uk/level-2-food-safety/Ex board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).0 -
Agree with jm, my understanding is that there are some multiple choice questions, eg about how many bacteria you'd find on the average cloth used for wiping down surfaces etc.
Deadman, do you have any identified special needs which mean you'd need extra help with this kind of thing? One of my DSs used to have extra time in exams because it took him ages to work out what was actually being asked (and WHY - didn't the examiners know the answers already? Why did he have to tell them!?) Or if there's a lot of reading, do you need additional time or someone working with you to help you follow things?Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
I just did a sample level 2 food hygiene test online. If you failed this then you should really be kept well away from food preparation as most of the answers were just common sense and I got 80%.
With some experience in this industry or some notice that I was going to take the test so to study for it, 100% would have been simple.0 -

The same thought crossed my mindIf you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0 -
And some people know their stuff but go to pieces when faced with a test.
Doesn't mean they can't do what they need to on a day to day basis. We all have different learning styles. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -

Well by that argument anyone who failed any test should be allowed to do the thing they failed if they are of that "fall to pieces" personality.
While this may wash in certain professions, I'm sure you wouldn't want an aircraft pilot, train driver or knife thrower to have failed their respective tests and be responsible for yourself or loved ones.
I hold the same standards for someone preparing my food.0 -
If you do it again then you need to pay proper attention, as you shouldn't be failing when you currently work with food.
I just done Highfield Level 3 last month and passed with merit despite not long having returned to my role, after doing something else for over 2 years and not even having to think about food hygiene.0
