Buying gold Britannia coins
Comments
-
i have a few coins and stamps, inlcuding 5 of the 'Prince George' silver £20s and some Kookaburras, and some Penny Purples..
i'm not a collector, but if i had less to occupy my time i could get into coins. i would probably try to establish values of the stamps, and maybe trade some quantity for quality. a dozen stamps and a dozen coins would do me, with a Faberge egg.
a quality watch is a nice little 'addition to the estate' too, but i only have one, and it's an everyday wearer.0 -

Funny you should say that, back in 2006 when my son was born I flew to Geneva and bought a Rolex Explorer 2 with some money that my father left me when he died (it cost me £2k and is already worth more than that). My intention is to hand the watch down to my son at some point, along with the story of how I got it, where and why.0
