Callcredit - links to wrong person

Hi
My brother has been trying to get a loan. We have found that Callcredit have basically linked all of my credit accounts with his (even though the accounts are listed with different DOB).
We have disputed all of them but does anyone know how long it will take to sort out. I understand if you are disputing a default or something they will need to go back to the bank but where it is clearly an ID issue will they change it quickly?
I can provide a copy of his own Experian report to show that I do own those credit accounts.
Both Experian and Equifax were perfect.

You should report this incident to the ICO. There's no way that records with different values in a key field such as DoB should be merged. The people who run the database are obviously disregarding basic data validation and making assumptions which they should not be doing. Complain to Callcredit and ask for an explanation how this can happen. Push for compensation. They are almost certainly in breach of data protection principles.0

It happens. Complain to Call Credit and they should sort it. Mistakes happen. It should be quick and simple to resolve.
IF they refuse to sort it then go to the ICO. They are unlikely to be interested unless you have reached deadlock with Call Credit.2.88 kWp System, SE Facing, 30 Degree Pitch, 12 x 240W Conergy Panels, Samil Solar River Inverter, Havant, Hampshire. There is no excuse for it. It shouldn't happen, and it's not a mistake, it's malpractice. It needs reporting. There seem to be many similar cases reported here.0 -
I do agree that the data validation is poor and it should have been the kind of thing that was manually looked at by a person (will check on Monday when we ring).0

I think you just complete a notice of disassociation form
