Where can we go for £600?

Am I asking the impossible? I'd like to go to someone nice 'n sunny for a week flying from Edinburgh/Glasgow (short flight if poss) for me and my 11 year old at beg on July. I've trawled a few of the discount websites for nothing under £800 which is just too much for a week in the sun. Any suggestions would be great.

    Hi

Have you tried Prentice Travel , They fly to Majorca,Benidorn, Gran Canaria etc from Prestwick , If you wait till about a month before they have great deals we got a week in Gran Canaria for £219 each at the beginning of this month and my mum left yesterday for a week at £149!, Plus the tour operator Seguro dosnt charge under occupancy charges etc and there prices include all the usual extras like in flight meals and transfers

the website is https://www.prenticetravel.co.uk and i think barrhead travel also do seguro holidays

    Hope this helps

Thanks. Had a quick look but again due to July/Aug timing rates are around £800 for us but I'll keep looking nearer the time.

Try https://www.airtours.co.uk or https://www.directholidays.co.uk (late deals section).
We have had some amazing last min deals through these.

I agree with the above- try lastminute.com as well- they have some really good deals going to Bulgaria, Prague, Croatia- don't dismiss Eastern Europe- its FANTASTIC! I've personally been to Prague- and it beats other capitals in Europe....but if you're thinking about your son then maybe the Catalonia region of Spain- near lots of theme parks and Spain is very child friendly :)

Hi if you go to www.airtours.co.uk and click on late deals theres a 3* AoA in Ibiza for £329pp.

Ibiza's got a bad reputation but I went to San Antonio 2 years ago and didn't find it at all rowdy.

Glasgow airport is normally very good for last minute cheapies as long as your not fussed on resorts and accomadation. keep checking these links to search engines to get an idea of cost, try some dates now to get an idea of price and remember theres about £50 to add for insurance and ticket at aiprort charges.

costa dorada (Salou) good for familys and near a big theme park and only a 2 hour flight.
