Discontinued face cream

Its just occurred to me as well that they will probably stop the traditional rose toner too, my skin adores that stuff
, I would love to try Astral but any more than a touch of perfume wrecks my skin, I've had good results before with Eucerin and when I was younger Olay but nothing compared to the A&E, my plan of action is to find some paraffin based creams and try them out.

If it's any consolation, Boots have a habit of discontinuing and then reintroducing products. I remember them doing the same with this line in the mid nineties.
In the meantime I'd recommend Superdrug's Vitamin E range. Or even aqueous cream, which is paraffin.

Can you post the ingredients for the Boots cream?0 -

I mainly use Cetaphil lotion which is rich and unfragranced but is around £8 a bottle so a little pricier. Nivea Soft Cream has a few ingredients that are quite similar to the A&E, which I saw for £1 a tube in Superdrug today if you want to try it. It is scented like the original Nivea though if that's an issue.
There's some angry people in the Boots reviews for discontinuing products that have been sold for years. They don't seem to listen to their customers though.0 -

Thank you very much for reminding me about Cetaphil, I had totally forgotten that this was a fabulous moisturiser that really agreed with me, I only stopped using it as the A&E was recommended to me but I would happily return to it.
Nivea products, unfortunately, don't agree with my skin but thank you for the suggestion.0 -

Back to using Pond's then, I suppose.
But I preferred the old fashioned packaging.
I replaced it with their Boots Traditional Skin Cream. It seems to work much the same, and costs a similar amount0
