Kitchen appliances + sky/satellite/TV cover...cheapest compared to Dom & general?

Hi! Head puddled with all this! Spring cleaning my finances. Latin FORTY FOUR £ a month to Dom and general!
This is to cover a 6 yr old dishwasher/fridge/freezer, TV (4k newish, nearly a yr old!, sky HD+ box and sat. System.
Best I found is kaput (also 10% cash back off topcashback) at around £18 a month. Cash back to come off that as well. Then 1 other policy for sat TV and box, £4 month, no excess, even replaced if just old age. So with cash back total around £20 a month.
Granted....£25 excess on all claims, £500 limit per claim (mine just fall within this) + an extra £25 excess if over 6 yes old. They cover up to a 10 year age. Given the age of my goods thought it was a good price/compromise?
P.S satellite cover is by a company called reactive.
Yes, Dom & general have NO excess or age limit....but at nearly £300 a year more ( that covers my car insurance!) And nearly £30 a month cheaper I deffo need to change.
Do you guys/gals think this is the best deal???? Any other ideas??.
Any help gratefully appreciated as my poor head is spinning lol!

Stick £20 a Month in s savings account and buy or repair from savings
Sky boxes can be picked up for £15 off eBay or free from sky on a new contract

Hi, thanks for replying. Not exactly 'pure moneysaving' but I would rather have the peace of mind. If I started saving today and 2 things conked out next month I'd be stuffed!

I think the most I paid to get some white goods fixed was £40. I find if you buy reasonable well good makes they last years. I agree with Browntoa just save £20 a month shoving it in a savings account or piggy bank0
