Dell support

Just had a really useful telephone call with a Dell support agent - who turned out to be in the Philipines.
I had tried the 'live chat' option without any success. That agent kept on telling me to go to the retailer as they held the warranty. It wasn't a warranty isssue, so she told me to ring Dell's out of warranty department. No, it wasn't out of warranty. I merely wanted to know how to disable the touchpad - and yes, I did google it but the answer wasn't in 'device manager' as all the instructions said it would be.
The telephone agent eventually found it in 'Human Interface' and sorted it out for me.
I am left handed and the space on the left hand side of the laptop is much smaller than on the right, so I kept on moving the mouse over the touchpad which then did things I didn't want!
Happy now - talking on the phone was much more productive. Well done that agent.
