Is it worth it?

Like everyone else I have been badgered by claims companies over the years trying to tell me that I had PPI and could reclaim. I'm not certain if I did have PPI but over the years I have had mortgages, a car loan and credit cards.

Reading through the forum it would appear that the car loan (taken in 2004) would not come into play and that credit cards would only have PPI if I paid any interest (I normally clear the balance every month but occasionally have paid interest.)

I'm pretty sure my mortgages didn't have PPI.

I know the companies concerned but don't have account details etc. I can't remember any discussions regarding advice on PPI or not with any of these products.

Is is worth my while putting in a claim?

I was in the same place with packaged bank accounts - thinking it wasn't probably worth it and we wouldn't get anything. Anyway, made a complaint on the off chance and ended up with £3,500 being returned to us!

What would you be complaining about if you never paid any?

Its different if you didnt know what you had. However, you have pretty much analysed the situation and seen no PPI.
