If you have given them the recess size then clearly they have got the blinds wrong.

Measure the blind and point out to them that it is too long, and tell them that you are rejecting them as not fit for purpose, and would like them remaking or a full refund.

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)
  • Thank you everyone I measured the tracks they were either exactly the measurements or Iver sent them pics and they picked the blinds up for "inspection" had to a fro with them said no problems were all correct would remove 1mm for good will. They have come back with much more taken off but stating only took 1mm shorted by at least 5 I would say. They wouldn't adjust the drop but to be honest I can do that myself if I must and I don't have any fight left in me now. I still haven't put the roller blinds up so still not sure if they work (they wouldn't roll before). But I will not use that company again have used blinds 2 go and had no problems with them I have Learned my lesson and will not do things on the cheap in future sometimes that little bit extra is worth every penny! Thanks again for all your help.

    Not always.

I very recently ordered from "blindsbypost" via their eBay shop and got a couple of made to measure wooden blinds.

Lovely quality, and even better it was on the day that eBay had their 20% off offer!!
